Jack Herrera is an election correspondent at Prism, covering the aftermath of the 2020 election in Black and indigenous communities. As an independent reporter, Jack covers immigration, human rights, and Latinx issues. His work has appeared in The Nation, The New Republic, Politico Magazine, and elsewhere. Based out of San Francisco, he travels to Mexico frequently to report from the border. Jack is a current an Ida B. Wells fellow with Type Investigations at the Type Media Center, completing a year-long investigation on immigration and health care.
