Marcela Rodrigues-Sherley


Originally from Belém, Brazil, Marcela Rodrigues-Sherley is a New York City-based freelance journalist covering immigration, education, and racial justice. Her writing can be found in Ms. Magazine, Women's Media Center, and Supermajority News. Previously, Rodrigues-Sherley was an editorial fellow through Smith College's Quigley Fellowship on Women's Rights Journalism and served as a research assistant in the Study of Women and Gender Department. She holds a B.A. in psychology and gender studies from Smith College.
